Tickwell

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 November 2026

Tickwell keeps your tasks on your phone. We don’t collect, see or sell your data. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Tickwell: To-Do List & Planner (“Tickwell”), an Android app made by Horyaal Tech (“we”, “us”).

What Tickwell stores on your phone

Everything you add to Tickwell is saved only on your phone, including:

Home screen widgets keep a copy of your task titles and times on your phone so they can show them. None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. We don’t run a server that receives your data, and we can’t see it.

Smart Scan

When you use Smart Scan, the text in your photo or screenshot is read on your phone. Your photo is not uploaded anywhere.

The text-reading files are built into the app. If they can’t be loaded, Tickwell may download the same standard files from a public content delivery network (jsDelivr). That download doesn’t include your photo or any of your tasks, but like any internet request, the network can see your device’s IP address.

Permissions

Things you choose to share

Tickwell Pro purchases

Tickwell Pro subscriptions are sold through Google Play. Google handles the payment, and we never see your card or payment details. Google tells the app whether you have an active subscription so Pro features can be unlocked. Google’s own privacy policy applies to purchases.

No ads, analytics or tracking

Tickwell doesn’t show ads and doesn’t contain advertising or analytics tools. We don’t sell or share personal data.

Deleting your data

Because your data is only on your phone, you are in control of it. You can delete tasks in the app, use Settings > Data > Clear Completed Tasks, or remove everything by uninstalling Tickwell or clearing its storage in your phone’s settings. We can’t recover deleted data.

Children

Tickwell is not aimed at children under 13.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal data. Because we don’t hold your app data, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you have emailed us, you can ask us for a copy of that correspondence or ask us to delete it. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we add features that work differently, such as accounts or cloud backup, we’ll update this policy before they’re released and change the date at the top of this page.
